Behind this cheerful brand are two cheerful Dutch ladies. Michelle Burgess and Astrid de Groot are both cyclists, mothers, and live in houseboats in Amsterdam with their families.

The Netherlands is a country with a lot of rainfall and a lot of bikes. When Michelle and Astrid couldn’t find rainwear that was good fun and functional, they decided to combine their skills in textiles and marketing to start HappyRainyDays.
