Frosty Lambswool Beanie byOtto and Spike
Frosty is a deceptively small looking base layer beanie designed specifically for commuting cyclists, or in fact anyone who needs to keep their head warm and wear a helmet.
During the last couple of winters the knitters at Otto and Spike have noticed folks with a regular beanie squeezed inside their cycle helmets. This could mean two things – it’s very uncomfortable or the helmet has been adjusted to accommodate the beanie. Not ideal.
They tried various yarn combinations and knit structures, finally arriving at this combination of premium surplus New Zealand merino lambswool and elastane, knitted in a single tubular layer.
