We’ve just discovered a new company based in Sydney who are selling Dutch-style bikes called Dixon Bikes.
The bikes have all the essential components for a commuter cyclist – a step through frame for upright posture, porterage via a back rack and front rack and protection from grease and dirt from the fenders, skirt guard and chain guard. They also come for the wallet-friendly price fromn $348 plus shipping.
Do you like the black, red or white?

Sarai Snyder, editor of Girl Bike Love reviewed her Po Campo Bungee Handbag. She says:
- Like all Po Campo bags, the Bungee Handbag is constructed of water and fade resistant fabrics. It has a durable nylon liner with a divider and a zippered interior pocket.
- One long bungee strap is attached to the bottom of the bag, thoughtfully finished with silver toned clasps that fasten to a ring on the side. This elasticized strap works to easily affix the bag to a rear rack or the handlebars.
- The Bungee Handbag has two exterior scrunch pockets, one on either end, with a nice reflective strip for added visibility. This is a great spot to clip your taillight.
- The bag is well finished with a few leather touches and an adjustable shoulder strap.
Best of all “As the weeks added up I received no less than a dozen unsolicited compliments on the Bungee Handbag.” That’s something we like to hear!

It’s pretty easy to find lots of chic women cyclists in the world of cycle chic – but not so much men.
So we were quite excited to see this range of stylish male cyclists snapped by Pays-Bas Cycle Chic. Enjoy!

Yes I know you’re behind me. Yes I know that you’re really anxious to get to the shops/work/home as soon as possible.
But hey the government decided to build a road which can only fit the width of a single car with no bike lane, so I’m gonna have to ride in front of you. And my little legs can’t keep up with the power of your engine.
So please, stop honking. Unless you’re just giving me a friendly hello tootle.
