We love the luxurious look of this 3-way leather pannier from NYC based designer Kate Bryant under the label Pigeonco.
She also makes a cool tie-dyed denim and leather pannier in a range of colours.

This picture of fashion designer Gretchen Jones (winner of Project Runway in the US) shows how stylish the classic blazer and shorts combo can look on a bike.
You can read an interview with Gretchen about cycling around New York here.
We’ve blogged about the wonderful hand-made bikes from Bowery Lane Bicycles before…and now we’re excited that a limited number are now available in Australia.
The bikes are hand-welded, painted, assembled, packed and shipped in New York City. The vintage style bikes are made by a family owned and operated company that has been making bikes since the 1800s and they feature sustainable cork handles, a Dutch leather saddle and a locally handcrafted wood crate.

The bikes can be bought online and are available for test rides in Bondi, Sydney. They will be coming to Melbourne and Brisbane soon!
The NYC helmet was commission by the City of New York from San Francisco-based Yves Behar / fuseproject.
The helmet has two components – a protective polystyrene inner shell and a separate soft fabric outer cover with straps and velcro flaps for keeping the wind/snow/sun off your neck. Commando style riding!
