Mother’s Day Ride
I always try to get out of the office for some fresh air in my lunch hour. Often I will grab a sandwich or crepe from a cafe in Centre Place like Aix Creperie or Jungle Juice, then follow it up with an indulgent cupcake while browsing the cute little shops in Degraves Street.
Today I’m wearing a stretchy Metalicus tank dress with a Metalicus top (their line of stretchy layered clothing is really great for cycling), a Witchery silk cashmere cardigan for warding off air-conditioning chill, a pair of patent leather heels I bought in Tokyo and all my other bits and bobs in the Blue Peony Shopper.
So much for the clothes! Where is your cute helmet from??

The helmet is from Yakkay, a Danish company that sadly doesn’t retail in Australia (I got mine from Denmark). We’re currently working with some manufacturers to get something similar made for the Australian market – stay in touch to find out more!

I, too, love Metalicus clothing for cycling in – in fact I find I rarely wear anything else these days. I really wish I could get my hands on one of those helmets. I’m worried about being sunburnt in summer!
